TRUWAVE DISPOSABLE PRESSURE TRANSDUCERS AND KITS

The TruWave disposable pressure transducer is designed with the clinician in mind—from its ergonomic profile that fits in the palm of your hand to its cable connector that attaches and disconnects easily. The TruWave disposable pressure transducer provides high waveform accuracy and product reliability through a host of advanced design features, including:

• A straight fluid path across the pressure transducer provides easy priming with minimal waveform distortion

• The Snap-Tab grip is very sensitive, allowing the clinician to gauge how quickly the system is flushed

• A convenient Snap-Tab flush device can be pulled 360° from any direction to generate a square-wave test pattern

• The water-resistant connector sheath attaches without pins

• Gold-plated connector wires ensure high-fidelity signal transmission

• A backside test port allows easy verification of transducer and cable accuracy

VAMP BLOOD SAMPLING SYSTEM

A Closed System for Needleless Blood Sampling TruWave disposable pressure transducers can also be used with a VAMP system to create a closed pressure monitoring system integrated with needleless blood sampling. VAMP systems are designed to improve infection control and blood conservation while providing consistent sampling for safety and reliability.

• The VAMP reservoir is designed to conserve blood by allowing the clinician to reinfuse excess blood not needed for the sample

• Clinicians use a blunt cannula to draw samples, reducing the threat of needlestick injuries

• The Z-site sample port reduces residual blood build-up, allowing collection of undiluted samples

• Self-sealing mechanism improves safety and convenience by eliminating the need for stopcocks

TRUWAVE TRANSDUCER / VAMP SYSTEM COMBINATION KITS

TrueWave disposable pressure transducers can be paired with VAMP kits (Venous Arterial Blood Management Protection System) for a complete and reliable closed, needle-less blood sampling system with accurate pressure readings in one complimentary unit. The blunt cannula design provides safety by eliminating the needlesticks associated with blood sampling. The patented system reservoir and shut-off valve are uniquely designed to conserve blood and ensure consistent blood sampling. The Z-site sampling port greatly reduces residual blood build-up for collection of undilluted blood samples while the self-sealing mechanism replaces stopcocks. PRESSURE MONITORING ACCESSORIES

Optimal Sampling for Critical Care Patients

The VAMP adult system is optimized for patients in critical care settings. A 5 cc reservoir is designed to conserve blood during sampling while allowing clinicians to safely sample blood where close proximity to the patient is required.

Reducing Blood Sampling Risk During Surgery

The VAMP Plus system provides all the safety, convenience and reliability of the original VAMP system, but with special features needed for sampling during surgery. A larger 12 cc reservoir provides an optimized clearing volume and adequate sample size, the choice of one or two Z-site sample ports provides the flexibility to sample blood either proximally or distally to the patient, plus a variety of tubing lengths are available to meet the needs of different surgical procedures.
